Upgrade Path
Boar is a legacy set with a single mission upgrade — to Adjusted — at Fort Ithaca (68487, 87947). Upgrading consumes the piece and wipes any existing tiers on it.
Acquisition
The base set
Boar is a legacy Animal-Series set — a finer build than the entry-level Bear, with an extra durability plate. It's the set you turn in for the Adjusted upgrade.
No longer lootable — Boar is a legacy set, now only found on the secondary market (player-to-player / auction).
The upgrade
Boar → Adjusted is handled by Imperial Guardian Liaison Atwell at Fort Ithaca — the same NPC behind the Vigilante, Nemesis, Jaguar and Angel upgrades. The mission is shared with the Marber Bravo-Type Plasma A rifle.
Upgrading consumes the piece and wipes any existing tiers on it.
Unlock first: Atwell's services are gated behind "Liaison Atwell's Request" — kill 500 Robot Warriors and/or Troopers (found everywhere, with concentrations southwest of Fort Medusa and west of Jurra Plateau Outpost). This one unlock opens all Imperial Guardian upgrades, not just Boar.
The upgrade also consumes a Renegade (L) armor piece at full TT, turned in alongside your own piece (full condition, attachments removed).
